G is for Girls!

Being a girl is not always fun and games. In fact, there are certain days when it sucks majorly. However, while I'm not a full on "girly" girl, I do appreciate the simple pleasures of dressing up for a night out or gazing longingly at expensive shoes and handbags.

Although I am no longer a single girl, when I was, I tried as hard as I could to be independant and learn how to do things without the help of a man (or my mother lol).

Let me know which thing you think are a must before you settle down!

  5. I'm the same... not a full on girly girl but I definitely love makeup and shoes when the night calls for it!

The one thing I wish I'd done before I got married is travel to Europe with a bunch of girlfriends. We always said we would, but we never did, and now most of us are married with mortgages.

Happy to be a new follower!

  6. Great post. I lived single for many years and learned how to do all sorts of things for myself from wiring up a hanging muffler to dislodging a stuck dishrag from the side of the washing machine drum. Following your blog now!

  9. Jennifer - Welcome! I really enjoyed looking around your blog too! I think European travel with girlfriends sounds like a lot of fun - too bad I only conquered my fear of flying last year! *lol*

Theresa - Thanks for the follow! It's really good to learn to be independant. There are still a few skills I need to learn though!

    Langley - Thanks!

Word Nerd - I'm still considering living in a foreign country, but whether I'm brave enough is a whole different question! *lol*
